More than 50 couples who have been unable to tie the knot due to Israel’s assault on the enclave, have finally made it down the isle. Israeli aerial and ground attacks have killed more 70,000 residents – cutting short marriages, and ending many before they could even begin. But Tuesday’s ceremony provided a rare moment of joy for couples who’ve survived bombardment, starvation and displacement. Bassam Bounenni reports.
