Five people were killed when a medical helicopter crashed near Long Lellang Airport in Sarawak, Malaysia, on September 8. The aircraft, carrying a pilot and four health ministry staff, came down close to the airstrip with its engine on fire. Aerial search and rescue operations were hampered by haze from Indonesian wildfires.
