New coronavirus restrictions imposed in North West England- BBC News

Tighter lockdown restrictions are being introduced for more people living in parts of the North West of England to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. From midnight on Saturday, residents in Oldham and parts of Blackburn and the Pendle district in Lancashire won’t be able to socialise with anyone outside their own household. They have been told to avoid all but essential journeys on public transport and gatherings such as weddings and funerals are being limited to twenty people. Clive Myrie presents BBC News at Ten’s report by health correspondent Dominic Hughes.
