Zhao Lei, from Wuhan, China, is suing her local government after her father died from COVID-19. She says the government ‘covered up some facts’ which led to his death. She is one of many families who are demanding answers from China’s Communist Party, who are accused of knowing about the outbreak before it spread, resulting in the city becoming ground zero for the novel coronavirus. One woman who spoke to Sky News is even suing her local government.
