Ex-Australia PM Julia Gillard: ‘I stand by everything I said about Tony Abbott’

Number 10 is facing mounting pressure to drop former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott as a choice for a top trade job – following criticism of his homophobic and sexist views. Australia’s first and only female PM Julia Gillard called him a misyognist in a memorable exchange in parliament in 2012 – and told Sky News she stands by every word.
