Sky’s Royal commentator and the former historical advisor of Downton Abbey, Alastair Bruce, said he is "very sad" to hear of Dame Maggie Smith’s death and described the "privilege" of working with her.
He praised her decades-long career in film and TV and said, "she was one of those people who, when she acted, you just couldn’t take your eyes off her."
