Israeli jets are striking deep into Lebanon’s capital, Beirut. The latest targets include central Beirut and the Al-Bash-houra area in the north of the city. More than 1,000 civilians, mostly women and children, have been killed in Israeli air strikes in the past week. Obaida Hitto has more.
