Pam Bondi: As Attorney General, Bondi promised transparency in releasing Epstein-related files, claiming in February 2025 that she had documents on her desk, including flight logs and an address book, and later referenced “tens of thousands of videos” involving Epstein and potential child sexual abuse material. The initial release of “The Epstein Files: Phase 1” in February 2025, however, contained mostly previously public documents, leading to accusations of overselling. Bondi also accused the FBI’s New York field office of withholding thousands of pages, pressing Patel for a full release. Her claims about vast video evidence were later contradicted by Patel, who dismissed the existence of such incriminating recordings.
