A Ukrainian man has been arrested by Italian police, suspected of being involved in the 2022 Nord Stream explosion.
The gas pipelines now out of use ran between Russia and Germany. It’s understood he’ll be handed over to authorities in Berlin. Germany says it will continue to stand by Ukraine, but will pursue a criminal investigation.
