Intel, Google, Microsoft, Cisco, PayPal, Adobe, Meta, Apple, Pinterest… Tech workers in Silicon Valley are calling out the double standards of their former employers, who claim to defend human rights, except when it comes to Palestine.
In an unprecedented crackdown on free speech, some have been sanctioned or fired simply for challenging tech executives.
Others chose to resign, saying that US tech companies enable Israel to carry out war crimes in Gaza and across the Middle East.
But they tell TRT World that Palestine is revolutionising the tech industry, and that employees are now willing to launch a workers’ intifada to challenge corporate greed.
