Sir Ken McCallum, chief of Britain’s domestic intelligence agency, MI5, has warned of growing security threats from Russia, Iran and the misuse of artificial intelligence.
In his annual address, he accused Moscow of using criminal networks for sabotage, highlighted more than 50 arrests linked to suspected Iranian activity and warned that AI could help terrorists develop biological weapons.
