It was an especially quiet Saturday morning as Hamas’ surprise terror attack was launched at Israel a year ago. Some 1,200 people were killed, making it the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. On Monday, Israelis marked the one-year anniversary. Thousands of people attended a commemoration in Tel Aviv where a minute’s silence was observed in honor of the victims. One year after the deadly events, they continue to impact the lives of millions.
