Further protests in Belarus keep up pressure on Lukashenko – BBC News

The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko remains under intense pressure after a third consecutive Sunday of protests against him in the capital, Minsk. There were clashes with riot police who made over a hundred arrests, with protesters mocking the President on his 66th birthday. The country has been gripped by mass protests and strikes since his re-election three weeks ago, which is widely believed to have been rigged. Our correspondent Steve Rosenberg reports.
